Broadband is a high speed internet connection that is always on. This means there's no more waiting for your computer to dialup to get online, and you can even surf the internet and talk on your phone at the same time.
What you will need
In order to get swiift broadband in your home or office there are a couple of things that you will need.
Broadband Installation
You will need a connected telephone line that has been enabled for broadband. There are two types of installation.
· Self Installation - broadband is enabled on your line at the telephone exchange. Line filters are required for each active phone in your house.
· Full Installation - a technician visits your home or office to complete some physical wiring. Line filters are not required with a full-install.
Broadband Modem
To connect to any of our broadband plans, you will also need a broadband Modem. To get the best out of the swiift network you'll need a modem that is ADSL2+ compliant.

What happens if you go over your data allowance?
Each Swiift broadband plan comes with a base amount of included data or "data cap". A data cap represents the amount of web pages you can surf, files you can download and emails that you can send and receive each month.
If you go over your data allowance, you will automatically receive an additional 10GB of data for $10. If you go over your second data allowance you will be charged $0.02 per MB that you use.
No surprise bills!
Nobody likes receiving a shock bill at the end of the month, so at swiift not only do you have the tools to monitor your own usage, but we'll keep an eye on it for you as well.
We will alert you via email or SMS message, when you are approaching your monthly data allowance and again should you reach it. You can relax in the knowledge that you won't go over your limit without knowing about it.
